Transportation & Parking Services provides motorist assistance in UCR parking lots. Below are different parking lot services that TAPS offers.
Motorist Assistance Program top
The Motorist Assistance Program Provides UCR Parking Permit Holders with vehicle assistance in the event they become stranded.
Services are available from 7:00 AM to 12:00AM (midnight) Weekdays and 10:00PM weekends, by calling (951)827-4133.
A Parking Representative will be dispatched to service requests, normally within 15 minutes.

Crime Prevention Tips: top
- Don't leave anything of value in plain sight. Most vehicle break-ins on campus occur via a smashed window.
More often than not, the owner left a purse, wallet, computer, stereo, etc. in plain site.
- Invest in the Club. It is an inexpensive way of helping to protect your vehicle from being stolen.

Emergency Call Boxes top
Emergency call boxes are installed in parking lots around the campus for the safety and convenience of the campus community.
