Check the Parking Information pages on this web site for updates on
parking lot and road conditions.
Make sure you have plenty of time to park and walk to your destination
on campus. We suggest coming 30 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment
or class start time.
Use alternative transportation. Incentives are available to participants
in the Alternative
Transportation program. We offer several options so you don’t
need to use your own vehicle.
Use alternate routes. Campus Circle Drive becomes congested and gridlocked
particularly during class changes. Save time by not using the inner campus
roads unless you have to.
Park head-in and within the lines at the correct angle. This allows
other cars to park next to you without damaging anyone’s vehicle.
Completely secure your vehicle before you leave it. Keeping valuables
locked in your trunk or out of sight will help deter theft.
At night use the campus escort service to accompany you to your car
or other locations.
Make sure your permit is in plain view and visible from the front of
your car.
Order
your parking permit early enough for it to be mailed to you before you
need it.
